According to me, a TV stand should serve multiple purposes like not only should it be useful for having the TV but also serve as audio racks, book racks, showcase for keeping show pieces, etc. This way you will save lots of space in your living room and all of them are contained with one stand. You also can have a one stop place for all the things you need.
