Poor service

I had given my microwave over for repair. It has been two months and the guy is not returning the oven. Not only that he has damaged the body of the microwave oven. When asked for compensation, he dodges saying that he would get it replaced. Till date he has not replaced the part nor has he returned to me a compensation amount. To take this to the consumer court, I was told its a very lengthy process and in the event I will have to run around between advocate and court to get the justice. That is how the law of Indian Government is. If it was in any other country, am sure such incidents wont happen in the first place. Even if it happens, am sure the redressal forum will act faster.
